Beijing Gold Fever Strikes UK Sailing Team

21 August 2008

Iain PERCY and Andrew SIMPSON win Gold

This makes four golds for Britain's sailing team, a very good Olympics.

19th August 2008

Paul Goodison wins gold in the Laser class.

So Paul has done it! and made it three golds for Britain in the Sailing.
Well done in such trying conditions. Hope you can do it again for us in 2012.

17th August 2008

Ben Ainslie wins gold again!

Ben Ainslie wins gold in the Finn class making gold in three consecutive Olympic Games and previously winning silver to make four medals in four consecutive Olympic Games.
So that makes a silver in the laser class in 1996 then a gold in the laser again in 2000 then a gold in the Finn class in 2004 and now another gold in the Finn in 2008. This makes him the most successful British Olympic Sailor of all time.

Well done Ben, all that work has paid off for you.
