Location

We are situated on the Essex coast, 40 miles east of the city of London and 10 miles north-east of Southend-On-Sea. The boatyard is approximately 40 minutes from the M25 (Junction 29).

Car route

(This is a car route only, if you are a HGV then use the alternative route below)

Route 1 - Rush hour

If you have a SAT NAV then our post code is SS4 2HF, be aware some TOM TOM devices will take you through Raleigh High Street which should be avoided. The A127 should also be avoided during the rush hour. The best route for a car to our site is, from the M25 Dartford tunnel. Use the A13 Southend bound and take the A130 TO The A127 Junction, go straight under the A127 (From M25 South bound use A127 jnc 29 Until A130 Junction join the A1245 Which is the first exit of the roundabout) onto the A1245 Go straight over the first round about there is a large car dealer on the left. Stay on the A1245 until the next set of traffic lights and turn right onto Rawreth lane, follow Rawreth lane to the end and turn left at the mini roundabout this is Lower Road, follow lower Road through Hullbridge past budgens up the hill and past the Coventry hill service station on your right. After 4 miles you will reach another T junction, turn left and continue for about half a mile and take the second left turn, this is signposted Canewdon. You are now less than 10mins from the marina. Follow the road through Canewdon and just keep going the road will take you onto Wallasea Island where the marina is 1 mile on your left hand side. The time from the A130 to the marina is consistently between 20 and 25 mins, this route is best for weekends and peak times. Don't use this route if you are a truck or towing unless confident. There are no height or width restrictions but all the roads AFTER Rawreth lane are B roads.
